Let's face it. Some days it just feels nearly impossible to get off the couch, out of bed, even outside of your house.
The important thing is that you try. Movement gets the blood pumping, it gets the creative juices flowing. We all know this yet it seems hard to find the time or energy to get started.
Instead of focusing on "exercise" or getting in a "workout", I prefer to focus on simply moving. This could be having an interpretive dance party in your pjs. This could be taking time to stretch and take deep, revitalizing breaths. This could be a stroll outdoors on a sunny day. For me, movement is crucial to my mental and emotional health. Moving our bodies can give us a fresh perspective while also opening us up to many health benefits. The Movement series in this blog will focus on simple ideas that can get you up and moving so you can feel strong, empowered, and at peace. (Because nobody likes that nagging voice telling us to end our Netflix binge and do something productive.)
More to come,
A
